Great place to bring the family for a quick get away. Some of the staff could use a refresher course in customer service, and management could do a better job of ensuring their staff is a little more focused on service, an less so on their cell phones. Did not run into this in previous visits. So, I'm not sure what has changed in the last year.
...now. forget the other Dells hotel/resorts... we've tried many. Wilderness is the best... clean, innovative water park slides and stuff, best food options, fun decor and theme, etc, etc. Cab be a hike from rooms and parking (parking is their biggest problem.) Can be loud in the hallways, but that's a problem with ALL Dells resorts. Each room has a private balcony and mini-kitchen. Fun place, and again, good food options. Ditch the kids and treat yourselves to dinner at the 'Fields at the Wilderness' restaurant across the lot from the main entry... GREAT food!
We stayed at Wilderness on the Lake. We arrived the week before Christmas. We have 4 toddlers. So far it has been a great experience. The shuttle picks us up and takes us to the other water parks. Plus the water park on the lake, is by far the best for the kiddos. They have enjoyed it, and so have we. You should come here!!!

Had some good family time here! I think for the enormous size of this place they do a very good job. I would differently give the lifeguard staff at the wave pool absolutely 5+ stars!!!!! Very professional! Several times the emergency stop button needed to be pressed to ensure the safety of a young child as one of them jumped in to take care of the situation. Very impressed indeed! Excellent job!
Top resort in the area. It has multiple lodging options located around all of their properties. Make sure to book near one of their private water parks that best suites your family's needs. Kids pools are great and they have an outdoor pool overlooking the water with a bar and food within an arm's reach.
