Condo @ The Wilderness on the lake was nice kids had fun that's what matters. We thought the indoor water parks was bigger than we seen. I Recommend it but just wasn't for me. Bring your fishing poles just yards off the shoreline.
We went to check out the indoor water park. We stayed at the Wilderness Canyon Lodge but with it's affiliation we're able to go. The water park is geared for younger children of say 9 and below. Not real big and activities are limited, chloramines smell at a higher level so we didn't stay long. Can't review anything else as we went only for the kids to play at the water park. All other Wilderness water parks receive an excellent mark from us and the kids too.
We like to bring our family here because of how many there are of us and they can accommodate for that. This way we are able to be together. With the comfort of almost being in our own homes. Beautiful rooms.
Love this resort! Only complaint this trip was the lifeguards were a little rude. Also the female lifeguard on duty at cubby cove told my son he needed to wear a life vest because of his height, I was fine with that, however was surprised she was the first person to tell us. We had been here for 2 days. Maybe other lifeguards should take a refresher course so that they all have the same information on these policies. My family loves vacationing here!
We recently stayed at Wyndham at Wilderness Resort and during our stay went to the water park at Wilderness on the Lake. The kids love this water park especially our 3yr old. It's the smallest of their water parks so it's easy to keep an eye on the kids. Our son loves the "big" slide as it's much slower than the other parks. He's able to navigate all over the water park & go down all the slides. Our 6yr old daughter loves the pool & Lily pad area. They both love the hot tub. During the warmer months they have a great outdoor pool area with splash pad. Also includes an infinity pool overlooking Lake Delton. We always enjoy our stay at Wilderness!
