Building 26 is very hard to find because they no sign or number and the room is so dirty, on the floor is dusty sands.... the air conditioner so low and feel like no atmosphere.
Cons: The pull-out bed was low quality and broken so the place really only sleeps 14. The twin beds were very uncomfortable. The place looked like a sloppily put-together dorm -- everything was done as cheaply as possible. The floors were filthy-- our feet were black from walking barefoot inside the suite for only 5-10 minutes. Barely any seating and only a tiny table for all 14 people, so if we wanted to eat in the suite, most of us had to sit on the dirty floors. Only had one bathroom with one roll of toilet paper. Had to drive all the way to the check in office to get more toilet paper because our phone wasn't attached to the wall. In my opinion, the rooms were overpriced. The photo shows a friend's feet after he walked around the suite for 5 minutes.
Won't comeback again...
The rooms are nice but they are not soundproof at all. I was there with my husband and out two kids ages 8 and 1 and we had to cover their ears most of the night because the upstairs tenants were fighting loudly and the next door ones were fornicating....also loudly. It was not relaxing AT ALL. We called security twice because the upstairs fight was out of control.
I had a horrible experience at your hotel resort. Manager David came to my door at 12 am pounding and aggresively telling my family to leave the resort because we are "tresspassing". I asked for an explanation and was given none. Manager and 2 men with no name tags stood outside of my door where I had 3 kids in the room who were afraid of his way of tone and aggresive attitude. We felt scared and threatened! Two of my kids were playing video games and one of them was sleeping when He falsely made accusations of me yelling at the kids and was publicly loud about it in the hallway where some of the residents of the hotel came out their doors and stated that they were not aware of any noises coming from our room. UNPROFFESIONAL STAFF! We were forced to pack up in less than 10 minutes which resulted in us leaving some of our belongings. I am SO DISSAPOINTED and I am demanding a full refund! I will be writing and reaching out to make this public if I do not recieve a full refund. We were not asked to keep any noises down untill Manager David came pounding on our door telling us to leave, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! He said he did not have to explain anything to us. We have been coming to wisconsin dells for years and were never treated that way. Manager David proceded to record the situation on his phone when i asked for mine and the childrens privacy. He told us the sherrif is coming and after waiting 2 hours for the police in OUR CAR AND 3 tired kids...we left and drove in a horrible storm and drove 3 hours back to get to our home in the Northwest suburbs of Illinois. This is unacceptible and unproffesional for a family resort. I am very upset how rudely this was handled.
First, I'll start off by saying this: my family, friends, and I have frequented this water park resort for the past 3-4 years. In thst time, we have always had problems, witb thr staff, stolen stuff, bed bugs, and their pricing scams. Tonight was the final nail in the coffin for Mt. Olympus. The room next to my families had bed bugs in them, and the infestation was bad. Luckily there were no kids there, but still, the services and compensation offered to the people in that room was quite sad. This was in village number 5, room 20608 for reference, and they were offered to be moved to village 26, which is like miles away. So, here are the cons of Mt. Olympus: There are bed bugs in almost every single village, the staff doesn't understand English/also are mainly foreign, food prices are sky high, and the quality doesn't match the price at all, there have been very little in terms of expansion of the park within the last decade, the place isn't as clean as it should be, safety standards and rules aren't enforced, the quality of the stay and resort feels cheap and outdated overall, and finally, for those who pay to get in with a wristband, you aren't allowed to go to the other side of the park that has all the good slides. Here are some pros now: since they made the park private on one side, it has less people usually, you can bring your whole family here and have a lot of space and freedom, rooms come with basic needs, like a tiny fridge and old microwave, and the beds and rooms are usually big enough for what you pay. Overall, I would rather stay at the wilderness, but, because of pricing and family size, the Mt. Olympus resort is the last resort.
Pros: Sleeps 14-16 people so it works for a big group. There's a large fridge for a lot of food. The designs for the bunk beds were really fun for the kids. It was spacious.
