Everything was clean, and staff was friendly and accommodating. Despite being clean the resort still felt a bit outdated and not very well kept up. The carpet in our room looked pretty old and worn. The indoor waterpark is fairly small compared to the Kalahari, but it was still more than entertaining for my 2 toddlers. It wasn't very crowded which I enjoyed as well. We did catch one lifeguard sleeping near the lazy river, but the rest of them seemed mostly attentive. Overall a decent resort.
We love this resort. We have 2 children with special needs so we like to rent the 2 bedroom condos with the all inclusive package. The kitchen is huge and allows us to cook there. The condo is always very big and very clean. We take a trip here 3-4 times a year. The indoor waterpark is nicely maintained. The hotel staff is helpful. I would give 5 stars except every time we are there, some part of the water park is under "maintenance" although we never see it being worked on. This time, the entire section of kids slides (the reason we go) was down for maintenance the entire trip. That is the main attraction for kids ages 4-12. Only a few big slides were usable, the baby pool and a smaller pool with a basketball set was available. It was a disappointing trip, especially since we were not told about this at all. Other than that, we love to stay in condos a few times a year. Everything is cleaned and furnished. It makes a trip with children so much easier!
I stayed for two nights. Although this is an older hotel I still expect cleanliness. The overall hotel smelled unclean like the carpets needed cleaning. My room was not vacuumed either day. the bathroom did not smell fresh and clean like many other hotels I've stayed at. Very little shower pressure. My bath towels were the size of a hand towel. I just felt like they don't really take pride in the place. Also the door to outside did not lock which made me a little uncomfortable. I will say that the restaurant and bar staff were very nice and the food was pretty good. I checked in the condo side and found staff pretty friendly however the girl at front desk on 11/30 hotel side barely greeted us or made eye contact. Overall a little disappointed.
Excellent weekend with family in the condos. The condos are spacious, kitchen was clean as were the bathrooms, each bedroom has it's own thermostat for individuals to set their own comfort level. Excellent number of staff/lifeguards in the water park. Downside was renovations in the water park, the roller coaster was not running and getting food at the water park cafe was slow.
Had the presidential sweet. Room was dated but very clean, and accommodating. Indoor pool was perfect for our 4 yo and 18mo. Dip n dots vending machine was a win. Staff was courteous.
