I love the spa ritual here: scrub, sauna, rinse, hot tub, cold water bath, and hot tub to follow. Your skin will look amazing!
After the disappointing lunch, I went outside to try to relax in the hot tub (which I believe is also a quiet area), when another loud and obviously intoxicated group appeared announcing "We don't have to be quiet here" and then ordered drinks. Again, not reprimanded.
I never write reviews. But because of the precious money spent at this uber-expensive spa, I feel that others should be warned and consider other spas. Beware of the "peace & quiet, no electronics" law. I understand this in the spa, but they also would not allow me to check my phone in a loud dining room either. I was eating lunch by myself, I sat down and there was a table having cocktails and they were quite loud. I then pulled out my cellphone to communicate with my parents (elderly parents in FL) and was immediately reprimanded by the waitress for using "electronics." However, the loud drinking table was not reprimanded in any way. Meanwhile, I had been sitting there quietly alone and peacefully.
Use to micro waves, tubs, firmer beds and really think you should offer alternative meat selection on breakfast menu. Other the love the quite tranquil setting. I will return though!
The hotel was quiet, clean and comfortable.
I love this place mostly for the spa circuit, though the beds are thoe most comfortable of any hotel I've been to. It is currently under construction and I can't wait to see the new pool. That said, I took off a star because they take their spa voices rule a little too seriously - no laughing! They have dedicated quiet spaces, but don't allow laughing even in the pool or bar area. I hope with the new pool folks can spread out more, and everybody's version of a relaxing time can be accommodated.
They give you comfy robes, flip flops and complimentary body scrub. The scrub is a mix of sand and essential oils. It is amazing! The locker rooms have nice showers and ammendities. The ritual spa part is coed so you can do it with yourself or anyone else you'd like.
The outdoor pool and hot tub is great even in the winter. As of now, they are building another indoor spa retreat and outdoor area. Definitely can't wait to experience it. Btw-The whole place is kid free.
Beautiful resort. The spa selections are magnificent, there’s something to fit both men & women.
Seems like "rules" only matter depending how much money your group is spending. They are rude, locker room is small, and if there's one loud drunk group it can ruin your experience. Consider Lake Geneva area spas for an alternative.
